Meesh's Dream: just finished my second insanity fit test

and my numbers went up on almost everything after only two weeks. holy shit.

Insanity - Day 1 / Day 15

1. Switch Kicks - 72 / 110

2. Power Jacks - 36 / 50

3. Power Knees - 65 / 80

4. Power Jumps - 26 / 33

5. Globe Jumps - 7 / 9

6. Suicide Jumps - 9 / 11 (more like 10.5….)

7. Push Up…

OMG! Congratulations!! I’m doing Day 6 tonight and yeah. Fitness test after the next six days. That’s so crazy!! I wonder how much I would be able to do!!

I thought it was only appropriate to show how I look after that workout. Shawn T definitely kicked my butt that time.
I find that I might not be up to snuff with where they would want someone to be when starting this program, but I think that’s okay. I’m going to catch up quickly as long asI push myself through.
Felt okay through the warm up. I can definitely feel my muscles waking up and finding some of the drive that used to push me through the end of hockey games. Stretching feels better every time I do it. I have NO flexibility in my body right now, so this is a part that I’m focusing on. I find myself losing balance a lot, but I know that it’s part of the process.
The workout itself was strenuous, but I felt like I participated more today than I did yesterday, which is a step in the right direction. This is definitely a group of moves that are much more challenging for me right now than the first workout. I liked it.
I spent all day looking forward to this moment. Done with my workout. Typing up my notes. Nothing but a shower and dinner left for obligations tonight. See you tomorrow.
